LEE COUNTY, Fla.- EMS crews help save lives every day, but rarely get to see the patients they've transported one the patient has left the ambulance. But Thursday, there was an emotional reunion between one Lee County paramedic and a man whose life he saved.

TC Bradley and his wife, Vickie, are celebrating their anniversary…and life.

On March 20th, Bradley went into total cardiac arrest and was clinically dead. He was without a heartbeat or pulse for a minute and a half to two minutes.

Thursday, he had the honor of presenting an award to Ray Wiegand, the man who saved his life.

Wiegand is a recipient of the Phoenix Award, which honors those EMS workers who bring people back, like a phoenix from the ashes.

Wiegand is one of a handful of paramedics who got an award Thursday. The Phoenix Awards are part of a week-long celebration, recognizing EMS crews who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
